Located at the end of the first fishing pier, Nantien Temple is dedicated to Matsu, Goddess of the Sea. It was built during the Japanese Occupation, and rebuilt in 1951. The most attractive feature of the temple is the Mastu (金身媽祖) statue, which is made of gold. The temple is the center of religious for local citizens.
