Opened to the public on 16 October 2010, the Lanyang Museum (蘭陽博物館) is a museum dedicated to the history of Yilan County, Taiwan. The museum building was inspired by the cuestas commonly seen along Beiguan Coast, and adopts the geometric shapes of the roof which protrudes from the ground at a 20 degrees angle, meeting a wall which rises from the ground at 70 degrees.
