The British Consulate at Takao (打狗英國領事館) is a former British consulate turned café located in Kaohsiung. Built in 1865 using materials brought over from the city of Amoy (now Xiamen), the structure overlooks Sizihwan Bay and Port of Kaohsiung. Since its conception, the consulate has been re-modified for different uses, such as being converted into an Ocean Observatory (1931) and Weather Bureau Observatory (1945).
