Yeliu (野柳) is a cape of Wanli Township in Greater Taipei with numerous rock formations that have been given imaginative names based on their shapes. These rock formations were formed as geological forces pushed Datun Mountain out of the sea. The best known is the iconic "Queen's Head", an unofficial emblem for the town of Wanli. Other formations include the "Fairy Shoe," the "Beehive," the "Ginger Rocks" and the "Sea Candles."
